"We recently spent two delightful weeks at Loonsong House. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful view, having breakfast on the enclosed porch, and hearing the natural sounds that you can only find in Vermont. The home is spacious, well furnished, and clean. We were very comfortable. There is also ample room for guests, for we had family members visit us there. Amelia is a marvelous hostess and made us feel very welcome.

The house is centrally located in the Northeast Kingdom for one day trips in any direction. Craftsbury Common is a very unique community with many activities. We enjoyed attending several local events. It gave us a real taste of the best of Vermont. We are planning to return next year."

"My wife and I recently stayed at "Loonsong House". It was a shot in the dark; and we hit a home-run! The setting was beautiful with a nice view of the lake. The expression "You could eat off the floor" certainly applies here. The property had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. A car is a must, as the General Store in Craftsbury had many things, but restaurants and shopping were in Hardwick (approx. 14 mi.). My only regret was I didn't have a fishing pole with me! I would definitely sty there again. Working with Amelia was very enjoyable."

"I stayed at Loonsong House over the summer with my family and we all had a fabulous time. It was a perfect spot for a relaxing, but very active vacation. The owners made us feel welcome and were eager to answer our questions about the loons on Little Hosmer Pond. The boat launch abutting the property made kayaking very convenient. We also enjoyed having biking, hiking, running and swimming opportunities at our doorstep.  The full size kitchen and comfortable beds were much appreciated.  We look forward to staying at Loonsong House again during the ski season."

Loonsong House is set in a gorgeous landscape, which is reflected in its interior decorations. Featuring pictures and symbols of loons, its namesake, this newly renovated house is truly a home away from home. It comfortably accommodated our family of five for our 5 night stay, with a fully furnished kitchen, linens provided for sleeping and bathing, and a sun room overlooking the lake. The shabby chic gives the place a modernized, rustic feeling. The inside is immaculate and the outside well manicured. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area."
